Recently, the first load test of the high-speed pump test rig, which was built by the 11th Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, was a complete success. It is reported that the new test rig has extremely high performance with ultra-high speed and small torque precision test.

Small thrust engine turbo pump efficiency is one of the key data for engine system adjustment calculations. A 1% pump efficiency error will result in a 5% error in system thrust. In the past, this type of turbo pump water test performance spread is large, which has a certain impact on engine performance parameter adjustment calculation.

The establishment of the test bench will play an important role in accurately measuring the performance parameters of the turbo pump, and lay a firm foundation for the subsequent development of the ultra-high-speed turbo pump test.
